WHAT I DO

I’m Darlene a speaker, personal branding and online business coach who shows ambitious, heart centered coaches, experts, leaders & entrepreneurs how to create a profitable online business while making space for themselves and their families by speaking up and sharing their story.

My genius is showing entrepreneurs 2+ years into their business how to deepen their business foundation and go after visibility so they can share their message with the world, attract dream clients, and have the impact, freedom, and flexibility they desire.

And supporting leaders inside organizations to strengthen their inner and outer voice so that they can speak up for themselves and the ideas and issues that matter most and move people to take action whenever they speak.

You know you're ready to accomplish more in your life and that your voice and message need to be heard. You're ready to share your story with your community and build a personal brand that not only attracts your dream clients but allows you to stands out as the amazing leader you are. You've felt the calling that you were meant for more and you're ready to make a big impact doing work that you love.

Your have a unique story and I would love to help you communicate it with the world so you can leave a legacy that your family and you can be proud of.

If you have been struggling to get clients and get your message out, you're not alone.

I help leaders, coaches, consultants and experts just like you identify what your unique skills are and transform your mindset in the most profound way.

I want you to be able to communicate clearly about the ideas and issues that mean the most to you and align your vision, mission and values so you can do work that your passionate about.

The first two years in my business, I barely make any money because I didn't understand the value in communcating my message and allowing others to truly get to know me.  After I nearly lost everything, I broke down and almost quit and went back to a J-O-B.

Luckily for me that rock bottom was exactly what I needed to gain the clarity of what it's like to stuggle with starting a business. I was able to rebrand and finally figured out my secret sauce and I'm determined to help you uncover yours.

My Story

Imagine being 17 years old, a senior in high school and pregnant.

I was confused and unsure of the future for me as a single teen mom. However, I knew without a doubt that I would provide a wonderful life for my son. With much support from my family and a lot of focus and determination, I raised my son and provided a great life for him while growing up right alongside him. It was not always easy, and we did it together, and he showed me how strong of a woman and leader I would be and how I could accomplish so much in my life.

After high school, I started working in big-box retail and quickly worked my way up into management. I found so much joy working with my employees by helping them grow and move up within the company or move forward to follow their dreams. I was providing a great life for us, but working 60+ hour work weeks did not allow me the flexibility to spend time with my son and be there like I wanted to, plus my health was struggling. I had a ton of mom guilt and found it really hard to balance my family + work life + self-care.

Then my world was flipped upside down the Summer of 2001 when my mom/ best friend was killed in a car accident and I almost lost my 5-year-old son.

I was blessed beyond belief that my son came home a few days later. My heart was broken at the loss of my mom. She was my biggest fan, my best friend and taught me so many great life lessons. Such as to show kindness, be authentic, have fun, be generous, and always put my best foot forward and make a difference to those around me by just being me. I can still hear her voice encouraging and moving me forward.

Despite all the pain and heartache, I was feeling; I knew it was time to make a change and impact lives and be the mom I wanted to be on my terms.

In August 2007, a year after having my second son, I became a business coach.

I went all in to get the best training I could find and purchased a franchise to learn from the best in the business.

I left training knowing I would change lives, but I needed help getting clients. I felt so defeated and frustrated. I couldn’t communicate the right words and wasn’t connecting with my audience. At the end of 2009, I left the franchise.

At the beginning of 2010, I picked up the pieces and rehung my shingle. I knew that if I were going to be successful, I would have to do things my way and on my terms. So I dug deep, tamed my inner critic, increased my confidence, and believed in myself. I remembered what I had accomplished, how far I had come, and how determined I was to make an impact and change the world.

I knew I had a story to share and a unique message that only I could bring.

I wanted to lead by example for my children, to show them what I believe in my core, that we can achieve anything we put our minds and hearts to.

My life has completely transformed since July 4th, 2001

Since I lost my mother, I am now a partner and mother of four amazing kids and run a successful business.
