We met while volunteering together at SCORE, a free mentoring service for small businesses. While surrounding ourselves with goal-orientated business owners and mentors, we learned a lot.
We came to the realization that many workshops and retreats teach you how and what to do. You get a short burst of inspiration; then BAM the overwhelm kicks in!
To make matters worse, it became clear that many leaders were stuck prioritizing how to hit their financial goals, often at the expense of how they really wanted to run the business. They were overwhelmed and frustrated because they thought when they got into leadership or ran their own company, they would have more time to enjoy life.
When we helped them uncover and take action on their deepest desires and dreams, they saw that they wanted to make an impact. Yet many seem to lack the confidence to make a commitment and make their big vision actionable.
From this experience and realization, we were determined to help create meaningful and actionable plans, in a safe and fun environment with like-minded people out to make a difference in the world.
