The first time I was told that I should hop on a soapbox and share a strong point of view to stand out more, I almost puked.

After all, I’m a people pleaser by nature and I never want to upset anyone, so I don’t usually post my strong points of views or beliefs about an issue or even jump into a controversial conversation.

It makes me uncomfortable just thinking about it.

But I see other people do it all the time.

While I don’t engage in political or controversy conversation (and you don’t need to either) I do jump in on conversations that I feel are important, like why self-love is critical, why sharing your story matters and how women need to support each other and stop putting each other down.

It’s true. People do connect with your brand when you share similar beliefs and values.

So, it’s important that you do identify something that you believe in and can get behind so that your brand can stand out.

When you take a stand it helps others notice your brand and allows you to stand out from others in your industry.
